AIGC Malaysia has partnered with the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) to deliver a 6-month "AI for Productivity Transformation" programme โ€” one class a month, teaching 200 Malaysian companies how to use AI for video and content creation. Every session runs hands-on: laptops open, real business accounts in use, with participants applying each AI tool to their own company's content on the spot.

The collaboration pairs a private AI training provider with a government statutory body. MPC operates under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) with a mandate to drive productivity improvement across Malaysian industries, and the programme runs under its AI for Productivity Transformation banner.

A sustained programme, not a one-off seminar

Rather than a single workshop, the programme follows a monthly cadence over six months. Each class builds on the last, giving companies time to apply every skill at work between sessions and return with questions.

The curriculum centres on putting AI to work in content production:

  • AI video creation โ€” AI-assisted scripting, voiceover, avatars and editing, so one team member can produce videos that used to need a crew.
  • AI content creation โ€” marketing copy, posts and campaign content drafted with AI, tuned to each company's brand and audience.
  • Short video for business โ€” platform-native short video that earns attention, backed by real growth case studies.

In line with MPC's mandate to produce more with less, every AI workflow taught is measured against real production time saved.

Three sessions documented so far

Three classes from July and August 2025 have been documented publicly, each with a different format and venue.

8 July 2025 โ€” "Boost Video Content Creation Productivity with AI Tools"

Held at a hotel ballroom venue, the July class covered AI video creation end to end โ€” scripting, AI avatars, voiceover and editing โ€” with participants working hands-on on their laptops throughout. Founder and trainer Max Ng demonstrated AI avatar creation live on screen.

24 July 2025 โ€” Small-group session with MPC's Productivity Nexus

Two weeks later, a session delivered through MPC's Productivity Nexus network took a different shape: a small-group cohort worked hands-on through AI video creation with one-on-one coaching.

5 August 2025 โ€” MATRADE building, Kuala Lumpur

The August class was held at the MATRADE building in Kuala Lumpur. Alongside the hands-on exercises, the session featured Max Ng's own TikTok growth case study โ€” from 0 to 52K followers in 6 months โ€” presented beside the AI for Productivity Transformation banner.

Who is the Malaysia Productivity Corporation?
